I love to write. I've been writing in a journal ever since I can remember. I use writing as a form of expression. As a way to process. As a way to make sense of my thoughts, ideas, and emotions. I love going back and reading journal entries - experiencing moments of deep thoughts - holding space & witnessing the growth and changes that have happened since, while reading my words all over again.
As someone who is not only introverted but has high social anxiety, writing is the way I can convey my thoughts and feelings best.
It's also a way I love connecting with others.
Having been sharing on social media platforms for more than a decade, I've met some of the best people this way. I've had deep and meaningful conversations this way, too.
While I know in-person conversations are as meaningful, I just know that I personally feel seen, heard, and beloved best, this way.
I used to tell people that I was/am that awkward person who says the wrong thing at the wrong time; who smiles come out at that inopportune time; and who laughs when you're not really supposed to (hello trauma response!).
And so writing enables me to put my thoughts clearly and convey myself best.
Any fellow introverts who feel this way too?
Truthfully, I want to share more!
Of me, yes, but of my thoughts, my work, the books I'm reading, the recipes I'm trying, the journaling prompts I'm using, the nature connection invitations I'm enjoying, meditations I'm creating, and all the things I love. And most important, to connect with you! A spot to share, to get your feedback, to learn from each other and to live through emotions, thoughts & feelings together.

I have some yummy projects brewing and I want to bring it here, on this platform.
Substack just feels good for my body, mind & soul compared other platforms. A space that seems to respect my choices of what I'm asking it to show me. A space where I have more flexibility in sharing what I want to. A place where I don't feel like I'm fighting the algorithms and billions of creators - to be seen, yes, but mostly to genuinely connect with you!
My current commitment is one blog a week - published every Thursdays during noon hour. My work is currently free. We will see how it evolves.
Welcome!
